I could not have asked for a better experience. For a while, I noticed something was wrong with my garage door. It didn’t always close and was very noisy. I finally made the call yesterday to Precision and they came over today. Joshua Page was my technician and he was AWESOME. He shared with me the different options for repair and then promptly fixed the door. Given the conditions of COVID 19, I felt very safe with the precautions he took as he did the repair. I highly recommend this service and Joshua for any repairs. He made a rough day, much easier.

My neighbors had service performed by Precision Door and they were quite happy, that is why I called for service. Making an appt. was easy. The associate on the phone was very pleasant. There was a follow up email to my appt. The tech – Jose called prior to showing up which was great and he showed up on the time he said. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. However, my opener was to old to be fixed. He quoted me a very high price which is when I had informed him I saw openers on their website for $349.00, not the $565.00 he had quoted me. He looked on his website and said I was correct. He didn’t know about this special offering. It wasn’t a Liftmaster opener which I saw Precision handled. He told me this Linear unit is 1-year warranty on the entire unit – motor, parts and labor. Their Liftmasters were a lot more money. That is when I declined and informed him that Banko Garage Doors had the Liftmaster opener for $375.00 with a 4-year warranty on the motor and 1-year on all the other parts and labor. He said they can’t match Banko’s price and I should buy it from Banko. I thanked him for his time. That is why I gave Precision a 3-Star Rating. Their intent of customer service was very good, however they weren’t competitive with their openers as a brand name.

Josh arrived on time and had his Covid-19 mask on which we appreciated. He was extremely helpful, professional and straightforward in discussing our requirements for three different 8′ high garage doors. Our problems ran from not enough clearance for a new opener on one door to an expensive repair on a door we never use to replacing an entire door or the possibility of replacing just one panel of the third door. With his input and suggesting options, we were able to make the best decision on each of the doors and very much appreciated his honesty and concern. In the end we will be installing a new more expensive opener on one door since there is not enough clearance for a traditional opener and we are working with Precision to replace the third door entirely with a hurricane resistant updated contemporary door which we use constantly. At no time did we feel Josh was pushing a more expensive option, on the contrary, he seemed concerned we would make the wisest decision for our needs. We have used Precision previously and will use them again. We feel they are trustworthy, their staff are polite and knowledgeable and we’ve never had any issues with work performed. We would recommend Precision to others.

Our technician was prompt and courteous. I was surprised that the cost he presented was much higher than the price range quoted over the phone when I scheduled the appointment. He took the time to explain the additional repairs and show us the parts in question. The work was done in a reasonable time frame, and the garage door works excellently. He was personable and competent. I would recommend him to a friend.
