Old Precision PDS 4700 Merantec opener suddenly would not close unless the wired wall control was held until the door closed. Serviceman Michael Freeman came and after assessing the problem called the office. They told him to replace the opener with a Genie opener. Michael was very competent and friendly. He replaced the opener and safety sensors and wiring. The new opener works well. The office told Michael to treat this as a warranty repair and did not charge me anything. I could not be happier with this service. Thank you very much.

The springs and opener rail came detached from the garage wall. This required significant repairs. John was very professional and a very good craftsman as this was not an ordinary fix. We are extremely happy with the results and very pleased with the way John handled it.

The tech did a great job. Was courteous and knowledgeable. Took time to explain everything and save me some money with the quick fix instead of buying a new opener. Lots of cos. offer garage doors/openers so it is hard to choose. I am so glad I used Precision. Luke arrived timely, was very nice. Had worked for them for 10yrs. Took his time. Didn’t try to “sell” me. And because he didn’t try to sell me, I bought a new opener. (Previous co. looked at age of opener and said they would not work on it, only replace it – I said “no” and they charged me $70 for the fun!) (BTW the phone scheduler was very nice too.) Very happy with service and so far (after 2 hrs!) happy with the new opener and other bits Luke installed on the door.

We have been using Precision Door for years when we have had a problem. They come out in an emergency to fix anything that is wrong. May it be late at night. I had used Precision in the past around 2017 for a broken spring on the garage door. It was fixed without issues and the tech was good. So when I was having issues with the garage door motor bringing the door up, tech found the issue and fixed it. Good service, friendly
