Dear Mr Rapp, Please forgive such a long story, but my heart and soul needs to tell you. I have been wanting to write to you for well over a month now but I have been battling a severe case of the flu that left me pretty drained and I’m just now getting back to my old self and finishing this writing that has been in the making for way over a month. So please forgive me for the delay. I have thought of your company and the miracle that occurred on Sept 16th every single day. I have been writing this in bits and pieces ever since. On Sept 15th I got home from work and my garage door opened just like it does everyday. It’s the only safety door I have to enter into my house. That evening I went to go out again and my garage door wouldn’t open. I can’t begin to tell you the fear and panic that set in immediately. The door lift just wouldn’t open my garage door and the motor kept making that grinding noise trying to turn the belt. I tried opening the door by lifting it as I clicked the remote and the door opened but it’s a hurricane door and it was extremely heavy. I took my car out of the garage to see if I could play around with the remote and get the door to engage with the lift. Nothing worked. I entered my car into the garage and decided I couldn’t risk coming in at night with the door in that condition. I have always seen your trucks driving around and the name “Precision Garage Door” always stuck with me somehow. On Sunday morning I looked up your web page and saw that you had 24 emergency repair. I was so happy!! I called and asked your office if they charged for an estimate. I was told that there was a 49.95 fee that would go towards the cost of the repair if I chose to have your company do the repairs. I told the lady that I would think it out and call back. A few minutes later she called back and said she found a coupon that I could have for a free estimate. It was my lucky day. I told her yes, to please send someone because I was really scared about my garage door not opening. Well the Lord always sends his Angels to our rescue and that same almighty God we all serve never forsakes us and is always always on time!!! My Angel that day was Chris Pinnegar. The most delightful and professional technician named Chris Pinnegar answered the call. A totally kind, professional sweet man from the minute he called to let me know he was almost at my address. The minute he looked up at my lift master he told me it was the belt that lost a few teeth. They were on top of my car. Worried about the cost, I immediately asked him to give me an estimate and he immediately told me not to worry that I could split the payment out into three checks. He gave me the estimate and I was relieved that I could write out three payments. Otherwise, I would have had to call back in a couple weeks and continued to open and close this heavy garage door with my very arthritic arms manually twice a day. In conversation after a while, I told him why my urgency to fix the door lift was so critical for me. I couldn’t leave my car outside at night. Mr Rapp, I was shot in 2014 at 2:55 AM because an intruder was on my front porch with a gun in his hand waiting to invade my home. My dog started barking very loudly with a bark that was very different from her usual one. I couldn’t shut her up. I went to my front window and as I parted the blinds a bit to see why she was barking, there was the intruder standing looking at my door way with gun in hand. He wasn’t sure what to do with the dog barking so he stood there frozen. I startled him by parting the blinds a little and that’s when he took a few steps forward and turned towards my window and shot at me. He gave me enough of a split second to get out of the way so the bullet wouldn’t get me in my back or stomach, but the bullet sprayed and I felt a sting in my left arm. Fragments of the bullet had hit me. I was so filled with Adrenalin that I just ignored and proceeded to set off my home alarm and get the police to come immediately. Left with enormous fear, I couldn’t leave my house for three days. A couple of neighbors got me to come out. In the thoughts of my great fear that same night, I felt that if it happened once it could happen again. My front door is the original wooden door to the house built in 1987. I took and single handedly moved a double wide book shelf filled with books over to the door. As I started feeling less scared with time, I decided to move the book shelf a little bit from the door to give the door some air flow in between because the door is being eaten by termites from the bottom. Well, my fear was right on the money. A year later in June of 2015 my dog started barking at midnight. The same dark bark of danger outside. As I was getting up to go see what was happening, a huge explosion happened. Someone kicked my front door in and the bookshelf stopped the door from flying open. My alarm went off in the most jarring way because it’s a talking alarm underneath the eaves of my roof. The intruder bolted because he received the surprise of his life. He destroyed with one kick, the frame of the door and the door lock went flying into the middle of my living room but the door only opened about four inches due to the book shelf. It was a moment once again, where the grace of God and his protection saved me because of that first time’s foreboding feeling that it could happen again. I had the strength at that moment of shutting the door and pushing that bookshelf all the way against it until police arrived. My front door remains to this day nailed on the sides. With no lock. I was able to nail its frame back. That bookshelf is pressed against it barricading the door. So my garage door has been my entrance and exit since the first incident in 2014 . 2014 and 2015 were not a good year. I had been trying to get on my feet again after 2 1/2 years of unemployment in 2011 that wiped me out financially. My central air unit went out in 2015 as well. So the struggle is real. I still feel very blessed by God. He has saved my life two times. I’m not able yet to fix the things that make one live like a human being but I move forward in faith that God is not forsaking me and at minimum is always giving me the strength and wherewithal to get through everyday. For that I’m blessed. So, the great man your company sent me that Sunday stayed quiet and work fixing my door. I think I left him rather shocked with my plight. At the end I went to write him my three checks and he said absolutely not. I pleaded with him and begged him to please accept my check and he said no. I asked him to at least let me give him personally at least 100.00 for himself, and talk about integrity at the highest level he said absolutely NOT! I cried like a baby because I was soooo stressed out and Chris’s humanity, kindness and enormous integrity left me sooooo emotional that I broke down completely. Afterwards, I received a call from Scott Paige. He told me about Chris coming to his manager over my situation. Scott told me your company wanted to help me and would send a technician to replace the old parts on my garage door so I didn’t have to worry about the doors operation for a few years. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do with it all except just break down. Then a few days later John Tsangarino. Another STELLAR technician came to rebuild my garage door. What a professional. Just like Chris, kind, empathetic, and a total pro at fixing garage doors. The gentlemen from your advertising dept came out as well and were so delightful and set me at ease about filming my story. It was a very good day. My relief had no bounds. But, there is something else that made me tear up as well and this in addition to my enormous gratitude is what will forever stay etched in my memory. I wish you could hear with the love, respect, admiration and gratitude every single one of these four men talked about you and your company. I have never in my life heard employees describe their boss and all that he does for them and the community, with such beautiful prose, their voices lowered because the respect and gratitude was palpable. It is such a testimonial of the humanitarian that you are sir! Their love for you speaks volumes of your management and love for your employees. Your company so obviously has an enormous social conscience. I know for sure without even knowing you, that you worked hard and tirelessly to build a large company that delivers quality products and workmanship, but at the same time your success never diminished your love for those that struggle and try to get by as best as humanly possible. It is so obvious that you are selfless and love humanity. Your company and your staff are your greatest narrators of your benevolence and your love for them and your fellow human beings. As tacky as it may sound you built an “Angel” company that goes above and beyond the everyday business to do Gods work as well. To love those you don’t even know and care for their struggles as humans. There is no doubt!! That in itself is the complete definition of “Success” at the human level and business level. God sees your intentions everyday. I promote Precision Garage Doors everyday. I talk about your company to realtors I know who sell houses everyday and anyone else. I want everyone to know about you and this magnificent business. Mr. Rapp, a million “THANK YOU’s a day will never ever describe the gratitude my heart holds for you, this Angel company and your MAGNIFICENT, LOVING, DECENT employees! GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYEES AND MAY GOD BLESS ALWAYS THE SUCCESS OF PRECISION GARAGE DOORS. MAY HE GIVE YOU MORE AND MORE BLESSINGS, SUCCESS AND MATERIAL WEALTH EVERYDAY BECAUSE GOD KNOWS THE GREAT MAN HE’S WATCHING OVER! With an eternal undying gratitude, Sonia Brito

Precision repaired the springs and replaced the rollers on our garage 4 years ago at which time I purchased the warranty. The garage operates much quieter with the new rollers and with the springs under warranty this replacement didn’t hurt the pocket. Both times the technician was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They will get my business again.

Had a new door and motor installed. First thing that impressed me was they were there when they said the would be there. Secondly, while the installer had a trainee with him I he lost little time as he showed how to do things, answered questions, and never slowed down. The work was done in a timely manner and I was impressed with how quiet the system was. It was not the cheapest system but because I did both the door and lift they gave me some credit. In their defense I believe the fees were not out of line for an upgraded hurricane related door & high end life system.
