I had called to arrange for an estimate to have a garage door opener install. A technician arrived and provided me with an estimate that had 2 choices with prices. Me then ask me which one would I like to have done. I said I wasn’t sure at the moment can you email me the estimate since it was on his iPad. He then attempted to coerce me to have the job done immediately. I told him I was getting estimates and would review them and make my choice. You still tried to talk me into doing it now and then proceeded to say that there would be a $75 charge for the estimate. When I spoke to their office personnel no mention was ever made that there would be a charged to come out to do an estimate. I had two other estimates free of charge and both were substantially cheaper for the same work. The technician then said he had to call his boss and tell him I refuse to pay the $75. He then told me that it would be tacked on if I took the job. He then sent me the email and left. I then looked up their company and noticed that they do have a service fee of $29.99 and a fuel charge of $20 when they come out for a service call if they do no work. That total was $49.95 not $75. I firmly believe that your technician was upset that he went out of his way to do an estimate and wasn’t able to do the work so he wasted his time. My understanding that that’s part of the job is to give free estimates. All companies do but apparently your company does not. Do not have them come out to do an estimate as they will try to coerce you to have it done right away. Their price was $3,000 and the other two quotes were for under $2,000 for the same work.

We were having issues with our door opening buy it self and or immediately opening as soon as it closed. Very strange. Mike came out exactly when he was scheduled to diagnosed the problem we needed to have the springs changed from cheap ones installed by the builder problem solved in less than 2 hours awesome service
